Dressing Your Wedding – Day 4
Welcome to Dressing Your Wedding Tables – Day 4
By now the tables are chosen, they have coverings and you have picked the perfect china. Now using the same technique I used to select my china I will find the flatware and glassware for the tables.
**Tip- If you putting the maximum amount of guest at each tables- do not have a seven piece flatware set and three glasses. The tables will look cluttered instead of elegant.***
I have my image board, linen, and china. I chose this china because it has the romantic edges with a ceramic feel – close to the earth. This plays on the feeling I want to portray to guests.
Because the china is from Classic Party Rentals, all the flatware and glassware will be from as well. You do not have to stay with the same vendor for everything. You can choose multiple vendors but unless you are picking-up there will be a separate delivery/pick-up charge for each company.
Lets look at the flatware first:
I know they are all so beautiful – but lets us begin the narrowing down process.
- The colors are beginning to feel very cool so I want to use a warmer color for my flatware to level everything out and keep the earthy tone feeling. So no full silver flateware.
- I am in love with the Rosanna Pumpkin but I feel that it is to bright.
- The Savannah Stainless are too bulky
- Rosanna Ivory are too Victorian
And then there were two…
Lets take a look at the glassware:
I am immediately drawn to the etching on the glasses. Looking at all the glasses with my image board I know I want either
The Olive Branch does not have any matching pieces so I will choose the Etched glass trio. The Mother of Pearl Trio will go beautifully with these glasses!!
